US Genuine Issue Woodland Battle Dress Uniform's (BDU's).....& Tri-color Desert Camo Uniforms (DCU's)

The BDU's listed below are USGI (United States genuine issue)..If you are looking for the old style winter weight or summer weight non-GI BDU's, click here .. For SWAT & Tactical BDU's, click here. The BDU's listed in this section are manufactured by Propper International, the largest supplier to the U.S. military and are comprised of mostly NyCo Ripstop or Poly/Cotton Combed Ripstop material..the two favorite materials of the Pentagon.
This is an all-season weight nylon/cotton or polyester/cotton blended cloth in a ripstop weave. Battle Rip™ is the fabric of choice because of the following qualities:

The woodland camo is worn in all parts of the world except in the Middle East and Southwestern Asia. These materials are rugged and durable. The government decided on the one material to be used as their one uniform..no more summer and winter weight. Currently this uniform is worn by the U.S. Army, the U.S. Air Force and by the U.S. Navy under certain circumstances. The Army will within another 18 months be wearing one weight uniform known as all -terrain..to be used in urban, desert and wooded engagements. The Marines already have their digital woodland and desert uniforms wihich are copyright, meaning you will not be able to purchase these uniforms in your local Army-Navy stores. Under copyright, the government contractors can not sell to the general public. This will be the case with the Army design as well. The Air Force is supposedly coming out with a design of their own as well in the future. .
Trouser Specifications:
Sewn to military specifications - Six pockets, four with button flaps - fused pocket flaps - four button fly - double reinforced seat and knee - adjustable waist tab with 4 bar tacks - nylon drawsting leg closures, fused, knotted, tacked - felled inseam, out seam and seat seam. The sizes listed in the "Select Size" box are the waist sizes that trouser will fit.

SWAT & Tactical BDU's

. With the advent of K-9 units, SWAT units and Search and Rescue, police departments realized they needed something other than coveralls or polyester trousers. One snag and the uniform polyester trousers were history as well as the high cost of them. They first wore the cotton/poly twill (winter weight) and 100% ripstop cotton (summer weight) but when the government went to one weight material, the government contractors were right behind them with the SWAT material (65/35 Poly/Cotton Ripstop). This material is durable, rugged and inexpensive as compared to polyester. Many departments now uniform all of their officers in this material, not only their special units. It is manufactured in Black, Dark Navy, Sheriff Brown and Dark Grey as well as other shades, although we do not carry any others. There are tactical BDU trousers, 2 pocket tactical shirts (tuck-in tail), 4 pocket BDU shirts, long and short sleeve dress shirts (have a badge tab).
